We've been going here for years and love this place. The food is always fresh, fast, and hot. The service is great too. We won't go anywhere else for Chinese.

This was the second time my husband and I have ordered food from here (both times as take-out) and, unfortunately, it will be the last. The first time, we ordered two dinners and both were pretty good. However, this time we ordered four dinner meals (for ourselves and out-of-town guests) and the sesame chicken and General Tao's chicken meals were almost inedible, they were so dry. I'm guessing they were cooked in the appropriate sauces, but there was absolutely no sauce "on" either of the chicken entrees. We were told 15 minutes for us to pick-up our four meals but we're guessing they were pre-made, sitting under heat lamps or something before being packaged up for us. This would explain why the chicken meat itself was so dry, and why there was no sauce in the packages. I guess we're back to looking for another decent Chinese food restaurant in the Springs.

I have been coming here for years. The lunch combo is where it is at. I love their Chicken in Garlic sauce. They are very accommodating to special requests as I get it without green peppers. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean.

Love the wonton soup and beef with eggplant. Just moved to Florida but I ate at this place 2 times a week I never needed a menu. Wonton soup is amazing!!!!

I will say that the ambiance is nice. Comfortable booths, nice decor, good temperature control. The seem to have a decent cocktail menu, though I didn't drink anything. That's the only nice thing I can say. The service is poor. Monosyllabic wait staff who mostly ignored me, and couldn't even be bothered to drop the check on my table. The food is tasteless, what I ate of it before I discovered the hair in my food. *Shivers.*

Best Chinese food in Colorado Springs! No msg which shows they are proud of the taste of their food without adding chemicals. It tastes so fresh and absolutely perfect. The service is friendly and they always deliver early than they say.

This started as my wife's favorite oriental restaurant but soon became mine as well. Almost everything we've had is very good to excellent. My wife orders Happy Family "Spicy". I do agree with one other reviewer in that the Hot & Sour Soup has a distinct flavor in the meat-not garlic or onion but a gnarly odd taste. Delivery is prompt and pleasant. Dining in is just as pleasant and polite. This is one to try.

Best Chinese food in the springs. I've had the sweet and sour chicken as well as the kung pow house specialty. Both were amazing!

I tend to avoid bad places to eat. I go to this restaurant once a week when I'm in town Good food. Pleasant people. Great service. Go eat here and you'll appreciate it too.

Came in on a Friday night for dine-in service. Overall, the service was good - quick/efficient, but you get the feeling they were a bit overwhelmed (again, probably because it was Friday night, and they were handling a lot of to-go orders). The food was just ok... Nothing special, basic. I probably will not come back and will seek to find better quality Chinese food elsewhere.

Service was polite. The soup I ordered was the hot&sour. Although the broth was wonderful, the various ingredients in it (tofu and pork) were not seasoned well and were slightly over cooked. The food came very fast, about 15 minutes after ordering. They forgot my guests request for no cabbage in the lo mein but besides that his dish was fine. My general Tso's was sweet, not at all spicy. But the meat and rice were very good, just the wrong sauce it felt like. Overall it wasn't bad, but pretty forgettable. I'd probably come back if I had to. I don't understand how someone could say this place was too spicy though.

My Family and I went here on our way back home from the Cheyenne mountain Zoo...The food was excellent, the amount was plenty and the price was unbelievable...For a Family of 4 it was only $39.96 plus we had leftovers and we were all full bellied when we left. We will definitely go back every time we return to that area. Loved it! Thank you.

On the day the movers came unexpectedly (after an 8 day wait) and completely disrupted our plans for the day, my boyfriend and I realized we hadn't had anything to eat that day and it was 3 pm! I knew I'd seen this Chinese restaurant at the shopping center across the street from where we were renting, so I thought we would try them. Well, they wouldn't have a driver until 4:30. I called back at 4:20 and they said it would be an hour. Almost 2 hours later the delivery guy finally shows up. Since it had been snowing, we had covers laid over the carpet for the movers. The delivery guy just walks past the movers into the house. Uh, hi, come on in guy. And he proceeds to walk with his nasty shoes across the carpet. WTF?! What an a**. I tipped him and he left. Food was pretty meh. The egg roll was decent, and my boyfriend said his pork with eggplant was alright. I had the Szechuan bean curd (what is commonly referred to as ma po tofu) and this was definitely NOT ma po tofu. I'm cool with having it vegetarian style (minus the ground pork) but it was in a barely spicy, gloppy brown sauce. I've made this dish better myself. Not sure who said their hot and sour soup was awesome, I found it pretty bland and forgettable. We had high hopes since this place was close by. The prices are pretty good for what you get, and it sounds like they do kung pao style really well. I'll give them one more shot, but this initial introduction was not a good first impression.

Ambiance: Small Chinese joint located in a strip mall. Very clean with minimal decor. Service: Always very good. Friendly. Food arrives promptly. Food: Better than most Chinese places in Colorado Springs (which isn't hard to do considering the dearth of decent Chinese in this city.) Food seems fresh, and their dishes aren't bogged down in lots of gloppy corn-starch laden brown sauce. Chicken is white meat only. Decent portions of poultry, meat and seafood in all their dishes. Also, good variety of spices and flavors. Overall, of course I have had better Chinese (especially on the West Coast), and though this place is just ok, it is a better alternative to most of the Chinese places in town.

Decided to go in for take out with some friends. We ordered, it all smelled great. $77 for 4 people! This better be some amazing eats for that kind of price! Once at home we all experienced different dishes and most importantly different levels of spice. My food was fine, but 2 of our guests could barely stomach their dishes due to the extreme spiciness of the dishes. I don't know what happened, maybe when it was prepared they didn't mix the spices correctly or properly, but it was bad news for sure. We're talking the kind of hot that makes your nose run, beads of sweat start to mount up on your forehead, and nothing will quench the fire in your mouth. We didn't know we were signing up for punishment, right? I have ordered out from many Chinese joints around town and for the hefty price and the burn I would have to look elsewhere next time I want to experience the Orient. Note to the chef: mix up those spices man!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
